Pet Mobility Training is assisting disabled or geriatric pets in maintaining their lifestyle despite functional infirmity.
I am not a veterinarian nor an animal physical therapist. My role in pet mobility is to teach your pet to utilize devices (wheeled carts, ramps, leg supports, prosthetics).
All pets requiring assistance devices should be under the care of a veterinarian.
My interest in this field arose when my two German Shepherd Dogs, Cajun and Kahlua, were both diagnosed with inoperable Degenrative Disc Disease.
They became paralyzed in their hindquarters and required assistance in walking which evolved from lift harnesses to canine carts. I could find no resources to assist with teaching them to use the carts.
Fortunately, as a professional dog trainer, I already possessed the skills to help my own dogs. Now, I am able to offer this service to you and your pet too.
This is my German Shepherd Dog, Cajun playing at the annual Greyhound gathering. His cart allowed him to live a wonderful life for an additional two years after his diagnosis.
The audio is provided by Sam the Whippet who wanted to get out there and play himself, not record Cajun playing.
